The Cathedral The Cathedral is dedicated to St. Lawrence, the patron saint of Grosseto and is one of the finest monuments in the city. The cathedral has undergone many restorations and remodelling, and was originally built on the remains of the Santa Maria Church. The cathedral follows the Romanesque style, and has a Latin cross plan and Romanesque facade.
