Rodeo della Rosa The Rodeo della Rosa is held on the 15th August where the Maremma cowboys meet in Alberese. The cowboys are divided into two teams, the Rosa Rossa (red roses) and the Rosa Gialla (yellow roses), and challenge each other riding ability. One member from each team compete on horses to win the coloured band of that team, this usually includes body to body fighting. When all the contestants have competed the 'roses' are counted up and the team with the most win.
