Hospital of Santa Maria of the Scale - Ospedale di Santa Maria Della Scala Built in the 800's, ths museum was once a hospital and orphanage. Within the museum you will find ornate architecture and one of the oldest Italian stained glass pieces. Collections by Sienese artists are shown here. Significant parts of the museum include the Sagrestia Vecchia, housing Lorenzo Vecchietta's paintings, the Pellegrinaio, the Capella del Manto, the church of the Santissima Annunziata, and the Capella della Madonna.
