Italy Golf Any holiday that involves a round or 2 of golf is an altogether more civilised experience, and there is nowhere better for it than Italy. Golf is well established in Italy but is not a big tourist attraction, yet!!! Many of Italy's golf courses are well known internationally. Where else could you play golf against a back drop of Alpine peaks, in Italy's Lake District, or among the vineyards of the Tuscan Hills? Not only will you find fast green and well kept fairways, you will be playing in one of the most scenic locations possible. Italian golf courses are clubs, where locals meet for a round and enjoy a good lunch. Most clubs are located in the north, from Rome up towards the foot of the Alps in Turin.
