Lucca Shopping
Italy is home to some of the world's best designers, Gucci, Armani, Prada and Ferragamo and Lucca, Tuscany, is no exception.
Many Italian products are world famous for their quality and style, and prices can be reasonable.
Shops are open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 or 4 p.m. to 7:30 or 8 p.m., you may find that some shops vary slightly with shorter lunch breaks and ealier closing.
The main shopping street in Lucca is the Via Fillungo where you will find an abundance of shops and boutiques. Along side the designer labels you will find all the usual tourist shops and plenty of places to browse through fine jewelry, including stores that specialise in antique jewelry.
The third Sunday of every month you will find a traditonal antiques market in the Piazza San Guisto. There is a weekly WSednesday and Saturda market located in Via dei Bacchettoni which offers everyday household items, flowers, clothing and handcrafted products.
