Duomo di Siena - Siena Cathedral The Duomo di Siena is of mixed Romanesue and Gothic architecture, creating a stunning looking building. The cathedral was designed in 1215 and construction was completed int 1263. Nicola Pisano begun the Gothic facade in 1280, which was eventually completed in the  1370's. The baptistry was added in the 14th century. Nicola Pisano also sculpted the Siea pulpit, which is made out of Carrara marble. There are several masterpieces within the cathedral including works by Pisano. Arnolfo di Cambio, Bernini, Michelangelo and Donatelli.
