Siena Shopping
Italy is home to some of the world's best designers, Gucci, Armani, Prada and Ferragamo. Florence, Rome and Milan are famous as fashion centres but smaller towns do offer good shopping.
Many Italian products are world famous for their quality and style, and prices can be reasonable.
Shops are open from 9am to 1 pm and 330 or 4 p.m. to 7:30 or 8 p.m., you may find that Northern Italy slightly varies with shorter lunch breaks and ealier closing.
Siena has a vast selection of boutiques offering one off items. the main shopping streets are Via Dei Montanini, Via di Citta and Banchi di Sopra. You will enjoy a professional service in all the shops, from advice on colours and styles to the latest trends. If your looking for a bargain then try February and July where Siena hold their sales, reducing items by 20%-50%.

For a good selection of ceramics, housewares and fine stationery. You will also find a number of fine antuique shops located here.
Via Banchi di Sopra
Here you will find designer boutiques with names like Gucci, Missoni, Burberry and many more.
Markets
La Lizza
This extensive market is open every Wednesday 8am - 1pm and located in the streets around La Lizza park and the Fortezza. You will find a good selection of fruits, vegetables, housewares and stylish clothing among other things.
Piazza del Mercato
This antiques market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Buonconvento Antiques Market
Located just outside of Siena, in the market town of Buonconvento, this antiques market is held on the last Sunday of each month.
